Linnoituksen Krouvi
On this page you'll get the opportunity to get to know us a little better.
Restaurant Linnoituksen Krouvi is a cozy living room designed for the whole family. We match old, classic vinyls with a delicious á la carte and a fine selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. The wines come mainly from small wineries - straight from the importers. We offer certain delicacies that you won't find anywhere else!
The foods consist mainly of locally produced supplements, such as the Finnish whitefish from Fisherman Häkkinen; pork from Ikonen's farm; lamb from Seppo Villa; berries and mushroom that have been hand picked from the local forests, etc. The menu is also influenced by the Russian food culture.
Given all of the above, one of our primary goals is to aim for consumer friendly prices, which you'll find evident by taking a look at our menu. Another house specialty is our love for art, which one can take notice on upon entering the restaurant. Linnoituksen Krouvi is proud to call itself a regular venue for various local art exhibits.

- 1956-1965: Institution for radiation therapy
- 1966-1992: Daycare center for mentally handicapped people
- 1992-1996: Various different roles; inc. office building, amateur theater, art and culture use
- 1996 - Restaurant Linnoituksen Krouvi, founded and renovated by Rauno Rönnberg
